Caring for our neighbours

Pain and suffering can run deep within our communities and can go unnoticed by the majority of us.  Many people who really need care and attention are not reached through traditional means and are passed by, locked away in their painful worlds.

Those who do turn to the church for help often don’t get the attention they deserve - simply because we don’t have enough resources to provide the level of sustained help and guidance where it’s really required.

Adopt the careline

Crossline can help churches, organisations and individuals engage with the community to support and empower those struggling with personal, spiritual or relationship problems.

At its simplest, you can add the Careline to your existing ministries by distributing our Careline number making Crossline’s services available to your communities. This in itself will open up the doors to a rich seam of carers, counsellors and Christian organisations throughout Scotland offering support and guidance.

You might also consider becoming an active part of the Crossline ministry by hosting a local volunteer centre.

Making a difference

Working together in this way we can reach a little deeper into our local communities and make a real and lasting difference to peoples’ lives.

Crossline can assist your local church or organisation by complementing your existing ministries - and by making the care you offer more accessible to the community.
